To cancel an affiliate transaction, please ensure that the cancellation process is completed by the end of the month following the month in which the transaction occurred (the month the transaction data was submitted). (If this deadline is missed, the affiliate will be paid, and as a general rule, transaction cancellations cannot be made.)
At LinkShare Affiliate, there is generally no transaction approval process to approve or disapprove (discard) performance. For performances that should not be counted due to order cancellations or other reasons, our system allows you to offset them by entering data with a negative amount or quantity.

Admin dashboard: Transactions → Find Transactions (Order History)
Check "Process Date," specify the period, set "Transaction State" to "Commissionable," and select "Real-Time" for "Transaction Tracking Type," then click "Submit."
*Please note that you can only specify a period of one month.
Once the search results are displayed, click "Download" to download the data as a CSV file. The extracted transaction data includes information such as Order ID, purchase date, amount, SKU, and affiliate number. Please cross-reference the order information in this downloaded data with the purchase history in your company's core system to identify orders eligible for cancellation.
Manual Cancellation Procedure when there is Discount Data
After performing a transaction cancellation, please be sure to check the transaction input notification email from the administration screen to confirm that it has been processed. If you do not receive an email or are unclear about the error content, please contact customer support. The email sent will have content similar to the following:
Subject: MID: 〇〇〇〇 [Advertiser Name] - Transaction Input Notification from Admin Screen
Body:
The processing results for performance entered or canceled from the administration screen are as follows:
1 item sent
1 item successful
0 items error
Additionally, please check the "Manual Input Transaction Search" to confirm that the transaction cancellation you performed has been processed. If any item remains "In Process," please contact customer support.
